How do I install Pro PackApp?
Download the installer and double-click it. Follow the wizard. For portable version, extract the ZIP and run ProPackApp.exe.
Do I need .NET installed?
No! Pro PackApp is self-contained with all necessary runtimes included.
Where are my PDFs saved?
Default location is Documents\ProPackApp. You can change this in Settings → PDF Save Location to any folder, network share, or cloud folder.
Can I import existing items and locations?
Yes! CSV import is supported. Format your data as: Items (ItemId, VendorPartNumber, Uom, Description) and Locations (Name, Address, Attn, Phone).
What barcode format is used?
CODE128 barcodes - industry standard and compatible with all barcode scanners.
Can I use this on multiple computers?
Yes! Each computer has its own database. Use CSV export/import to share data between computers.
What printers work for labels?
Thermal label printers (Zebra, Dymo, Rollo) or standard printers with 4x6 label sheets.
How do I update to a new version?
Download and install the new version. Your data is automatically preserved.
